Penn Hills Musical Alumni will present the musical "PETER PAN" at 7:30 p.m. August 7 and 8, 2009 at the Linton Middle School, 250 Aster Street, Penn Hills, PA 15235.   Tickets are $10 for all adults and $8 for students and children. There will be a special show for children on Thursday August 6th at 7:30 pm where one child (age 4-12) will be admitted free with each adult $10 ticket purchase.

Penn Hills Musical Alumni is a theatrical producing partnership of former students of Penn Hills High School, which originated in 1993. PHHS Musical Alumni is an independent organization funded by ticket sales, advertising and donations. It produces high-quality theater productions which promote the growth of music and theater in Penn Hills School District and surrounding districts as well.  Participation is open to all PHHS graduates.  This production has members of the Eastern Area Youth Chorale playing the younger cast members as well. The musical is produced by Barbara Spiri, Music Coordinator K-12 in the Penn Hills School District. The dramatics director is Susan Clydesdale. The pit is conducted by Mark Zajicek and the stage managed by Keith Peterson.

First produced on Broadway with Mary Martin and Cyril Richard, Peter Pan is one of the world's most celebrated musicals. Here is all the charm of J.M. Barrie's Peter Pan, Tinker Bell, the children Wendy, Michael and John, pirates and Indians, embellished with show-stopping songs: "Never Never Land", "I Won't Grow Up" and "I'm Flying". The soaring aerial choreography will be provided by "Flying by Foy", the same company that produced the flying effects for the Peter Pan production on Broadway starring Cathy Rigby.
